Privacy Policy

We are a small retailer, not an advertising business. The data described here exists to get garden fertilisers and plant food to your door and to answer questions about it.

What is collected

  • Order details: Delivery name, full address including PIN, a reachable phone number and an email for confirmations
  • Order history: What you bought, when, at what price, and the invoice raised against it
  • Payment result: A success or failure flag and the transaction reference; approval credentials never reach this site
  • Messages: Enquiries and replies, stored with the relevant order
  • Site usage: Basket and session cookies, and visit counts that carry no personal identifier

How the data is used

Payment, despatch, returns, correspondence. No secondary use, no profiling, no ad targeting.

Who else sees it

  • Whichever carrier delivers the parcel, Delhivery or XpressBees, for that purpose alone
  • Banking infrastructure handling the transfer itself
  • Our hosting and email providers, who store the data on our behalf under contract
  • Lawful requests from a competent authority

Personal data is never sold or exchanged. There is no commercial arrangement of that kind behind this shop.

How long we keep it

Statutory retention governs invoices and order data. Enquiry correspondence is deleted after closure.

Data rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased where no legal duty requires us to keep it, and withdraw a consent you gave.

Send it to checkout@marvelletrading.shop from the email you ordered with. Replies come within 30 days, free.

About cookies

The cookies this site sets are the ones a shop cannot work without: keeping your basket between pages and remembering a logged-in session. Blocking them in your browser breaks checkout but nothing else.

Protecting your data

We encrypt the connection, limit who can reach the order data, and hold no payment credentials at all.

Should a breach occur, you and the relevant authority will be notified, in line with the DPDP Act.

Complaints

The owner of the business is the grievance officer. Write to checkout@marvelletrading.shop and you will hear back within 48 hours.
